Geelbek is an extremely popular wedding venue. Vows are said in Churchaven’s hundred year old church on the beach. Churchaven is a white-washed fishing village in the West Coast National Park, 16 km from Geelbek Restaurant. The little Anglican Chapel of St Peter‘s was founded in 1901. Special permission is needed and can be arranged by Elmarie Leonard.

Wedding receptions are held at Geelbek Restaurant. The restaurant is situated on the lagoon in the Geelbek main house.

The Cape Dutch building is a National Monument with beautiful views of the lagoon and the park. Geelbek’s marquee can seat from 60 to 180 people. Geelbek provides an all- inclusive wedding service.

Wedding co-ordinator Elmarie Leonard will conjure up an event to suit your style and budget.

Geelbek staff strive to make every wedding a dream day. In order to assess your needs they need to spend time with you and therefor only work on an appointment-basis.
